Hey there! I'm Suyane Ribas, the creator soul behind this little studio.
I was born and raised on a small island in the south of Brazil called Florianopolis. In 2018, at 21 years of age, I migrated to Australia in search of new adventures and growth.
When I moved to a new home,I started a 6-week course on the wheel at the local studio and that’s when I fell in love. Soon after, I became a member of that studio for almost a year. However, my desire to create led me to convert the spare room at home into a pottery studio, including with my first wheel!
While experimenting with clay, I went through a profound process of self-discovery. Making pottery is my therapy, while I was modelling my pieces, I learned to shape this new version of “me”.
On 23 May 2023, with fears and insecurities, I signed the contract that marked the beginning of a new era. Temple Clay was born: a place where the passion for ceramics melds with the desire for self-expression. A safe space for bringing the brightest ideas to life.
I thank each and every one of you for being part of this journey. Together, we will shape dreams in clay and illuminate the most beautiful parts of ourselves. The adventure has only just begun!
